We are proud to announce that Solwit.eko has been granted two ISO standard certifications:
- ISO 22301: 2012 – certification confirming the implementation of a business continuity management system
- ISO / IEC 27001: 2013 – certification confirming implementation of an information security management system
The scope of both certifications covers the implementation, maintenance and development of the ENVIRA system for waste management for the enterprises processing waste from the following sectors: municipal, industrial, and retail, and for the related advisory, training and consulting services.
The ISO 22301 standard is an international standard supporting BCMS (Business Continuity Management Systems). They have been developed to protect companies and institutions from various dangers that have a large impact on their functioning. ISO 22301 provides a comprehensive approach to protecting business continuity and employee safety and presents good practices and guidelines for identifying threats, assessing the potential effects of their occurrence, developing and testing emergency plans, management support, communication, resources.
The ISO / IEC 27001: 2013 standard defines the methods of managing, implementing, maintaining and constantly improving of the information security notification system in the company. This standard also specifies the requirements of constant monitoring and risk assessment as well as the methods of taking corrective and preventive actions in the company’s operational activities.
The certificate was awarded by an independent certification body – PRS S.A. Management Systems Certification Bureau, which is accredited by the Polish Center for Accreditation – a member of the European co-operation for Accreditation and the International Accreditation Forum.
